The Cup is FULL!

In the morning when you rise,
I bless the sun, I bless the skies,
I bless your lips, I bless your eyes,
My blessing goes with you.

In the night-time when you sleep,
Oh, I bless you, while a watch I keep,
As you lie in slumber deep,
My blessing goes with you.

This is my prayer for you, there for you, ever true,
Each every day for you, in everything you do,
And when you come to me, and hold me close to you,
I bless you…., and you bless me too.

When your weary heart is tired,
If the world should leave you uninspired,
When nothing more of love’s desired,
My blessing goes with you.

When the storms of life are strong,
When you’re wounded, when you don’t belong,
When you no longer hear my song,
My blessing goes with you.

This is my prayer for you, there for you, ever true,
Each every day for you, in everything you do,
And when you come to me, and hold me close to you,
I bless you…., and you bless me too,
I bless you…., and you bless me too.

Well, it’s the hubster again, as the knittyref just doesn’t have the energy to make a post. Thank you for indulging me with some lyrics from one of my favorite artists. Yes, we bless you!

The cup is FULL…. Sorry, we can’t talk of knitting or spinning as the focus is on survival and beating cancer for the knittyref. But with YOUR positive thoughts and prayers as requested, this has been a good week for the knittyref. As a matter of fact, I’m thinking of taking up knitting and spinning so we can discuss what this blog is really supposed to be about! Chemo is such a double edged sword – good as it holds the monster back, bad as it poisons the whole body. Chemo was last Monday and so far the week has been good – the knittyref has been able to eat, drink, and sleep….. Even the weather has been good and the knittyref has been able to enjoy the sunshine and soak up its’ warmth. NOTHING is more wonderful than sunshine and its’ warmth!

Bless You and THANKS!

A Single Candle of Hope

Unfortunately, this has been a hell of a week! Sorry, but it's the hubster again... I really wish we could be back to knitting or spinning, but that's not the way the powers that be seem to wish...... So we have to talk about reality instead.

The knittyref started a new chemo protocol this past Monday. The infusion and the the 40 mllion blood draws (part of the study) were accomplished and the knittyref didn't run out of blood -surprise, SURPRISE!

Today, [Saturday] has been a day of NOTHING is staying down. [The agongy of watching the knittyref deal with this stuff is almost unbearable as an outsider].

A SPECIAL THANKS to all of you that have sent your thoughts, support, prayers, and LOVE to the knittyref as she has dealt with her cancer now for 4 and a half years.

So, I the hubster, ask you to take a moment and say a prayer for the knittyref and ask for the miracle. Thanks so much! We love you all so very much! Thus a single candle of hope......
